MRS. J. C. WELLS, widow of the late J. C. Wells, died Thursday morning at 5 o'clock at her home in the Marsh district, aged 77 years. She was a member of the First U. B church, Middleburg.
The following children survive: John C., Cleveland 0.; Mrs. J. E. Ausherman, Chewsville; Mrs. Harvey Davis, Waynesboro; Roy M., Abington, Ill.; G. A., Bridgeport; Mrs. F. T. Love, Hillsboro, Va.; Mrs. J. H. Ausherman, home; Mrs. Margaret Clever, Strasburg, Pa.; sister, Mrs. M. S. Bricker, who made her home with the deceased; thirty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Sunday, services at the house at 1:30, services by her pastor. Burial at Cedar Hill, Greencastle.
