  Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Burial: 2:30 p.m. in Proffitt Cemetery, Young County. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
  
  Billie had been a resident of Hurst for 35 years. She graduated from All Saints School of Nursing. She was past worthy matron of the Crescent Chapter of Eastern Star. Billie was co-founder, along with her best friend Marjorie Lajoie, of the Tarrant Area Parkinson's Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Wells; sister, Vera Bell Rogers; and son-in-law David W. Johnson.
  
  Survivors: Son, William Ernest Wells and wife, Sadie, of Fort Worth; daughters, Denise Wood and husband, Bruce, of Bedford, Coleen Johnson of Bedford; sister, Frances Irene Plank of Abilene; grandchildren, Zackary Wells, Jennifer Wood, Janie Espitia; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
