Regt commanded by Col. Benjamin Stephenson in the war with Great Britain 1812 and that he volunteered at St. Clair County, Ill. about the 21 August 1813 for 6 or 12 months and was discharged at Madison County, Illinois 10 February 1814 (by getting one Fielder Porter as a substitute to take his place)

Kirby in the Seminole War that he enlisted at Richmond, Va. about 27 July 1831 for 5 years and was discharged at Mackanohia, Fla. 27 July 1836 and he has received Land warrant #6217 for 80 acres which he has since legally disposed of and cannot return and he makes this declaration for purpose of obtaining the additional Bounty Land
