Dr. T.O. Wells, prominent physician at Brownsboro and for a number of years a civic leader there, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock following a brief illness. He had suffered a stroke of paralysis last Friday and had remained unconscious until his death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist church in Brownsboro. Interment followed in the Red Hill cemetery.
Dr. Wells, who was about 74 years of age, had been a resident of the Brownsboro area for more than a quarter of a century and had practiced in the Brownsboro, Murchison, Leagueville, New York and Shady Grove communities in this county.
A Christian man of high ideals and a prominent Mason, he had for years been a leader in his home community. His wife died a number of years ago and in recent years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. William Stuart of Brownsboro, at whose home his death occurred.
He was a cousin of Dr. A.C. Horton.
The deceased is survived by seven children: four sons, Ollie Wells of Murchison, Bill Wells of Houston, Charlie Wells of Brownsboro and Royce Wells of the New York community; three daughters, Mrs. Guy Brown of Jayton, Texas, Mrs. Dick Watson of Hillsboro and Mrs. Stuart of Brownsboro. - Death*: 19 October 1932; Brownsboro, Henderson Co., Texas, USA

Murchison, Texas, Dec. 28. - Funeral Rites were held here for Ollie Wells, 66, prominent in civic affairs of Henderson County and a former member of the Henderson County Memorial Hospital Board.
He was employed in the land department of the Lone Star Gas Company.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Arch W. Wells of Murchison; two daughters, Mrs. T. B. McCormick of Dallas and Miss Zonell Wells of Dallas; four brothers, W. E. Wells and O. O. Wells, both of Overton, Charley Wells of Fort Worth and Royce Wells of Brownsboro, and three sisters, Mrs. Lula Brown of Jayton, Mrs. Ethel Watson of Brownsboro, and Mrs. Zephie Stewart of Brownsboro.

Services for Royce Wells, 77, of Brownsboro are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Brownsboro Church of Christ with Tex Townsend officiating.
Burial will follow in the Red Hill cemetery under direction of Foster and Brown Funeral Home.
Mr. Wells died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday in a local hospital following a brief illness.
Born December 31, 1901 in Henderson county, he had lived most of his life in the Brownsboro area. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. T.O. Wells, and was a retired farmer and former employee of the Brownsboro Independent School District.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Wells of Brownsboro; one son, Charlie Wells of Brownsboro; five daughters, Mrs. Mavis Fudge, Marteal Wells and Mrs. Wanda Mayberry, all of Dallas, and Mrs. Margie Rogers and Mrs. Joan Daily, both of Lewisville; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Brown of Jayton, Mrs. Ethel Watson of Brownsboro and Mrs. Zephie Stuart of Fort Worth; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was b. in Conway, a painter and paper hanger by trade and was killed Oct. 28, 1905, by the falling of scaffolding while engaged in painting the Baptist church in Shel. Falls.

WELLS, Edwin H., s. of Rodolphus and Harriet (Howard), b. 1853 in Conway; d. Oct. 28, 1905, as result of staging giving way at the Baptist church in Shelburne Falls which he was painting. He was 52 years of age, had been active in the work of the Grange, and was a man much interested in public affairs. He m. (1) Mar. 8, 1881, Emma L., dau of Joseph and Louisa Nichols. She d. Apr. 27, 1888; (2) Jan. 28, 1890, Emma J., dau. of Graham K. Ward. She was b. 1850; d. Sept. 11, 1910. His mother Harriet Wells, was the daughter of Martin and Polly (Brooks)Howeard, b. in Charlemont in 1819, and d. in Buckland, Apr. 19, 1901, ae. 82 yrs. Had:
