D.M. Wells
Looking for a D.M. Wells who was an attorney with the law firm of Wells and Loveridge in Coldwater, Michigan in the mid 1890's. D.M. Wells was married, but his wife's name is unknown. She is related to my family lines and an heir to the estate of Isaac Thompson. Her husband's law firm help settle this estate which was in Montreal, Canada in 1896.

born 1834 m. Sara Ann Holt born 1836 found in Casey Co., KY in the 1880's. Children: William W. Wells, Eliza A. Wells, Frank W. Wells, Sara F. Wells, Jonah Wells, Martha Wells, and Silas Wells. Frank's son, Alvis Wells, d. Benton, AR in the 1980's.

Daniel Wells
Electrician in St. Louis, MO during mid to late 1800's. Wife, Catherine Young, d. and left him with at least 5 children: Nora Wells, Mattie Wells, Florence Wells (my grandmother b 1888), Willie Wells, and Louis Wells. Girls were taken to the Howard County Orphanage in Kokomo, IN. Willie and Louis worked on the RR. Willie d. of pneumonia on Missouri Pacific RR ae 19 y/o. Louis went to Scott City, KS, m. Sadie, and had 4 children: Thelma Wells, Blanche Wells, Willis Wells, and Lawrence Wells. Louis then d. of TB.

Daniel L Wells, b in NY, was married to Florence D. (maiden name unknown). I finally located them in the 1880 Census for Deerpark Town, Orange Co, NY. I don't know why the name Catherine Young appeared as my Grandma's mother's name on her application for a marriage license. My Grandma was evidently named after her mother, both names being Florence D. Still have not found where or when Daniel died but he applied for Civil War Pension in IN.

David Wells
b. 16 Mar 1806 in New Jersey (?), d. 19 Sep 1865 in Pikeland Township, Chester, Pennsylvania. m. 01 Nov 1832, Mary Ralston b. 15 Jul 1812, d. 04 Nov 1879.
David & Mary's son was James Ralston Wells, b. 29 Sep 1833, d. 16 Nov 1900 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. m ca 1858 Mascy Annie Frailey, b. 14 Aug 1841, d. 14 Aug 1927 in Adolphustown, Lennox & Addington, Ontario, Canada.
I also need any information pertaining to Mary Ralston's ancestry.

David's son or grandson, also named David, went south and settled in Savannah, Georgia. David also had a brother, name unknown, who settled in Nantmeal, Chester, Pennsylvania.

Named on Bastardy Maintenance Order in Parish of Great Glemham, Suffolk, England, as father of a bastard child by Elizabeth Hutton (Utting). Child is my great-grandfather William Wells Utting, born 18 June 1822. David was a shoemaker. Seek any other info such as birth, death, marriage, parents, residence etc.

David Sloan Wells
Born in 1772 in North Carolina, lived his life in Tennessee, appears in Montgomery County tax and militia lists, served with Andrew Jackson's TN Volunteers in the War of 1812 as Sergeant of Cavalry in General John Coffey's Regiment, was later a resident of Haywood County, and died in 1849 of "flux" in Monticello, Drew County, AR. He had married twice, and had about a dozen kids in all. At least four of his sons moved to Drew County, Arkansas after 1850, and we have some decendant information. Question: Does anyone know who David's parents were?

Dock Wells
Dau Katie Wells m. Whetis Washington between 1910 and 1920. Lived in Muskogee Co., OK. Whetis b Paris, Conway Co., AR. Believe Katie changed her name to Cameller. Daughter of Dock and Allmer Wells who also lived in Muskogee Co., OK. Almer (b bef 1900) is dau of Robert and Locinda Edwards and they lived in Cherokee Nation, Indiana Territory, OK. In 1880 census, Dock Wells (age 51) lived in Conway Co., AR. Dock had a son named Lum, which is my father's name (Lum Columbus Washington), Katie's son. Katie had a brother named Langford b. in OK. Dock Wells also had a brother named Ben Wells (?).
