Barker Wells
b. 1772, married Ana Herrick in Brooklyn, Connecticut 1794. Barker Wells
died 4 June 1838 in Springboro, PA and his buried next to his wife Ana ( also spelled Anna
or Ann ). His father may have been Barker Wells or James Wells. The tombstone
shows "son of James and Eunice". Barker
and Ana had at least one daughter Lyta Wells (Bowman) b. 1811 in NY.
I believe they also had a son, Henry Wells b. 1801 in NY. Would like to prove this
connection between Barker and Henry Wells and find Barker's place of birth.
Benjamin Wells
Married Nancy Gullis(h)an, probably in
Newburysport, MA. Son, Moses Wells, was b 6/1797 in Newburysport, MA and d 7/24/1885
Acworth. He m. Ann(a) Barton 12/4/1822 at Enosburg, VT. Ch: Adeline Wells (b 1824),
Amasa Wells (b 1826; migrated to MI), Alpheus Wells (b 1828 and m. Ellen Mercy Soule), Moses Wells
B. (b 1833 and m. Ellen Morrison), and William Wells (b 1836). In the 1850 census
Moses Jr.'s household had a Sarah Dunkee, age 4 along with the Wells' much older
children.

Cir 1796 Virginia. Married to Temperance born in Virginia 1803.

Betsy Wells
My g grandmother's name was Betsy Wells born about 1857 in Peterborough, England.
On the 1881 Census she was 24 & living at South Street, Liveredge. She was married to
James Walker born about 1844, maybe James had died as his name wasn't on
the 1881 Census and named Betsy as head.
Their children were:
- Sarah Ann Walker born 1874 Liveredge
- Eliza Ellen Walker born 21 Feb 1876 (My Grandma)Liversedge
- Joseph Walker born 1878 in Liversedge
I hope that someone knows of this family and will be able to help me get a little further
in my family tree.

Has birthmark on one shoulder the size of a quarter. Adoption took place in
Stillwater or Oklahoma City, OK. Want to reunite our family!
