  James Wells Jr., 77, of Baton Rouge, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Little Rock, Ark. He was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Prairieville. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pearl Wells; their four children and spouses, Jamie and Sam Wells, of Gonzales, Harry and Lisa Wells, of Denham Springs, Jim and Murl Wells, of Baton Rouge, and Bubba and Ethel Wells, of Breaux Bridge. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister and granddaughter. Memorial service at Full Gospel Lighthouse Church was held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 5 p.m. Funeral service at the church will be held Friday, Jan. 6, at 1 p.m. Burial following in Resthaven Cemetery in Baton Rouge.
