  Martha Wells GORDON, 88, of Naples and formerly of Connecticut, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
  
  She was born in 1923 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Alden Wells and Florence McLaughlin WELLS. Following her marriage in 1944, she and her husband Clark moved to Simsbury, Connecticut, where they lived for 39 years and raised their three children. Martha and Clark moved to Naples in 1988.
  
  Martha received a B.A. degree from Smith College, Class of 1944. Immediately following graduation she went to work for IBM as a Systems Service Representative. After earning a Master's in Education from Central Connecticut State College, she taught school for 13 years in the Simsbury school system.
  
  She leaves her husband of 68 years, W. Clark GORDON; their children, Bruce Wells (Charlene) GORDON of Kansas City, Kansas, Laura Gordon (Steve) STROMBERG of Lincoln, Nebraska; a son-in-law, Daniel MILLER of Manchester-By-The-Sea, Massachusetts; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
  
  She was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Gordon MILLER, in 1990.
  
  Burial will be held in Simsbury, Connecticut at the convenience of the family.
