Brevet: 1st Lieutenant, 09 June 1863 for meritorious service in the Battle of Beverly Ford, Virginia

Captain, 19 Oct 1864, for gallant and meritorious service inthe Battle of Cedar Creek, Virginia.

Major ,13 March 1865, for gallant and meritorious service during the war.

Died: 21 March 1891, Albany, New York: age 52.

The Albany City directories for 1889 and 1890 show him living at 196 N. Pearl listed as "Captain" US Army.
