p. 87 Richard TUTTLE came to Boston in the ship Planter from London, in 1635, with his mother, Isabel aged 70 years, his wife Ann, aged 41 years, and his children, Ann 12 years, John 10 years, and Rebecca, 6. He himself was 42 years of age, and died May 8, 1640 aged 47 years leaving a widow and minor children.
According to the Book of Possessions, he had a house and garden in Boston proper, also another house in garden there, and a farm at Rummey March, bounded with John COGAN on the north, Samuel COLE on the south, the sea on the east, and the highway on the west. In the property, the son John finally took the Rummey March farm, and the two daughters, the property on Boston. The daughter, Ann, is thought to have married John PANTRY of Hartford, and secondly, on June 23, 1654, Thomas WELLES.

Robert CALDER was born in BOSTON Feb. 19, 1812, died in Revere Jan. ?, 1893, married in North Chelsea (then Chelsea) Oct. 1, 1835 Elizabeth DAVIS born in Boston May 30, 1815, died in North Chelsea Feb. 16, 1848 and was the daughter of Capt. John DAVIS and Mary COLBY, see No. 1 of the DAVIS family. He married secondly in Canton, N. Y. Nov. 21, 1852 Mary Jane SNELL born in Canton 1834, died in Boston Oct. 14, 1854. He married thirdly in Salem May 3, 1864 Elizabeth F. HERSOM born in Skowhegan ME. Sept. 11, 1834, did in Revere Dec. 1894 and was a widow HERSOM whose maiden name was ROSS. By her former husband she had a child born in St. Albans ME....... (Snip)
